Who we are

Pinly is operated by Trendlaboratories Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14811852), with a registered office at Hub 11, Pepper House, Pepper Road, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK5 7DP, United Kingdom.

By creating an account or using Pinly, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.

What Pinly is

Pinly is a golf round tracking app. It lets you find golf courses on a map, record a scorecard hole by hole, and build a history of every round you’ve played. Course data is sourced from OpenStreetMap and our own database — we’re not affiliated with any course, governing body, or handicap system.

Age requirement

You must be at least 17 years old to use Pinly. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Don’t share your login with anyone else.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Account settings → Delete account. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our systems.

Your data

The rounds and scores you record in Pinly are yours. We don’t claim ownership of your data, and we don’t sell it. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle it.

Acceptable use

Pinly is for tracking real golf rounds. Don’t use it to:

• Submit false scores or manipulate round data
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API
• Do anything unlawful or that could harm other users

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

Paid features

Pinly is currently free to use. We plan to introduce optional paid features in the future. If and when we do, we’ll update these terms and give you clear notice before anything changes.

Service availability

We aim to keep Pinly running reliably, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We’ll do our best to give advance notice of significant changes.

Limitation of liability

Pinly is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, Trendlaboratories Limited is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We’ll update the date at the top and notify you in the app for any material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
